Client: Church of St. James the Less, Philadelphia, PA
Overview:
As part of a multidisciplinary team initiative, I contributed to the design strategy for a wayfinding and digital storytelling system at the historic Church of St. James the Less—a National Historic Landmark celebrated for its 13th-century Gothic architecture. Our goal was to make the church’s rich history, notable burials, and active community presence more discoverable and engaging for visitors through thoughtful design and accessible digital tools.

My Contribution:
Logo Design: Created a new identity system to unify signage, print materials, and digital experiences under one cohesive brand.
UI/UX Design: Developed wireframes and interface design for a mobile-friendly platform linked via QR codes on physical signage. The platform shares burial histories, architectural insights, and scheduling info for guided tours or services.
Visitor Experience Strategy: Designed user-centered touchpoints including printed maps, signage layout, and content structure to enhance navigation and engagement.
Deliverables:
Custom logo and identity system
Wayfinding signage with QR-integrated tour flow
Interactive digital interface (UI) for mobile access
Print + digital site maps for navigation
UX strategy to connect past and present stories for diverse audiences
