Rebranding Fifa World Cup 2026
A bold and unifying rebrand for the FIFA World Cup 2026, celebrating national pride and global connection through the power of sports.
With countless logos in the world of international tournaments, this new identity stands apart—designed to embody inclusivity, collaboration, and the individuality of nations. The rebrand isn’t just a logo; it’s a symbol of strength, versatility, and timeless appeal, ensuring seamless application across licensing, media, and beyond. More than just a visual identity, it ignites the spirit of the World Cup, uniting fans in their shared passion for the beautiful game.

Design Process
The FIFA World Cup United logo is built on a dynamic and fluid visual language, symbolizing movement, unity, and the energy of the game. The primary mark takes inspiration from the iconic World Cup trophy, reimagined with abstract, flowing lines that evoke a sense of motion and inclusivity.

A Custard Regular typeface was chosen for its bold yet playful nature, bringing a sense of warmth and approachability to the identity. Its smooth curves and fluid strokes complement the organic lines of the trophy illustration, reinforcing the dynamic energy of the game and the spirit of global togetherness.

The color palette is rooted in classic red, blue, and white, echoing the host nations while also symbolizing passion, trust, and unity. The red stars accentuate the international aspect of the competition, while the curved red base mimics the foot’s contact with the ball, reinforcing the movement and essence of the sport.

Behind the Design
This project challenged me to balance branding, motion, and spatial design while maintaining a cohesive narrative. I learned the importance of patience and iteration, realizing that refining the foundation before jumping into execution saves time and improves results.
Through this process, I developed new skills in motion graphics, interactive storytelling, and environmental design, expanding my ability to create engaging visual experiences. Managing a complex workflow reinforced the value of strategic problem-solving and adaptability.
Overall, this project pushed my creative and technical boundaries, strengthening my confidence in handling large-scale, multidisciplinary designs.
