Ci ceka/ Short Animation

Ci ceka is an experimental animation inspired by my hometown in southern Iran. It explores the emotional journey of a woman who, in her dreams, loses her husband and faces loneliness and challenges. As her dreams transport her to unknown realms, she encounters a paradoxical world filled with trials. The name Ci ceka, means "Story" in the indigenous language of southern Iran.
Design Process
Character design for woman and man also create a background and color palette.
A  Custard Regular typeface was chosen for its bold yet playful nature, bringing a sense of warmth and approachability to the identity. Its smooth curves and fluid strokes complement the organic lines of the trophy illustration, reinforcing the dynamic energy of the game and the spirit of global togetherness.

The color palette is rooted in classic red, blue, and white, echoing the host nations while also symbolizing passion, trust, and unity. The red stars accentuate the international aspect of the competition, while the curved red base mimics the foot’s contact with the ball, reinforcing the movement and essence of the sport.
Behind the Design
This project challenged me to balance branding, motion, and spatial design while maintaining a cohesive narrative. I learned the importance of patience and iteration, realizing that refining the foundation before jumping into execution saves time and improves results.
Through this process, I developed new skills in motion graphics, interactive storytelling, and environmental design, expanding my ability to create engaging visual experiences. Managing a complex workflow reinforced the value of strategic problem-solving and adaptability.
Overall, this project pushed my creative and technical boundaries, strengthening my confidence in handling large-scale, multidisciplinary designs.
